The teams participating remain the same. Basically, the five teams Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and UP Warriors will be facing each other in the tournament.

The Mumbai Indians have won two seasons, and the RCB have won one. This year, MI is the defending champion, running to secure the title. Meanwhile, the Gujarat Titans, UP Warriorz, and Delhi Capitals will be trying to get their first trophy.

The WPL 2026 auction is set to take place on November 27 in New Delhi.
