Eventually, Kuldeep Yadav again dismantled the Pakistan middle order, taking 4/30 in his four overs. Bumrah, Axar, and Varun got two wickets each.

Basically, it looked like the Indian batters would easily chase the total, but the Pakistani bowlers had a different plan. India lost three wickets just for 20 runs as in-form Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Suryakumar Yadav were back to the pavilion. He scored 69* in 53 balls. Shivam Dube’s vital knock of 33 runs, including big hits, steadied India’s ship. At the end, India won the match by five wickets. Tilak Varma was the Man of the Match for his knock of 69. Abhishek Sharma, who had a brilliant tournament, was the Player of the Series. The Indian team refused to take the trophy from the ACC president, and they were not awarded the trophy. They celebrated without the trophy.
