There is a change in the number of teams participating in the Andhra Premier League 2025. In the previous season, it was six; now we have seven teams playing in the fourth season. Uttarandhra Lions and Vizag Warriors were playing in the final. Vizag Warriors won the match by 87 runs and eventually were the champions of the third edition of the Andhra Premier League.

There is an increase in the total prize money of the Andhra Premier League when we compare it to the previous season. With more sponsors and more viewership, the amount has seen a rise. The winner of the Andhra Premier League 2025 will get a total of Rs 35 lakhs, whereas the runner-ups will get Rs 20 lakhs. There is also a good chance for the players if they perform well to get a chance to play in the Indian Premier League. Apart from the IPL contract, the best players of the tournament are also given awards.
Representatives and talent scouts from six IPL franchises are expected to attend the matches to identify emerging players. To ensure greater transparency and accuracy in decision-making, the Decision Review System (DRS) will be implemented in the tournament. The total prize money has also been enhanced, with the winners set to receive Rs 35 lakh and the runners-up Rs 20 lakh. Individual awards for standout performances in each match will also be presented.
What is the format of the knockouts of the Andhra Premier League 2025?
Just like the Indian Premier League, there are two qualifiers, one eliminator, and a final in the Andhra Premier League. It is always better to finish in the top two, as you get two chances to qualify for the final if you fail once. When you finish first and second, taking an advantage is fair.

The first qualifier (6:30 PM) and the eliminator (1:30 PM) will be played on 21st August. Basically, the following day, which is 22nd August, is the day for the second qualifier. Basically, the timings are 6:30 PM. Lastly, the final is on 23rd August and the timing for the match is 6:30 PM.
