A total of 16 teams have qualified for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. A 25-day tournament across eight cities in Switzerland will see a lot of surprises when the teams compete against each other. A total of 51 teams took part in the qualifying competition. Russia was not allowed to participate in the competition because Russian teams were suspended indefinitely from UEFA and FIFA competitions.

Besides, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, and San Marino did not provide an entry. Of the 16 qualified teams, 14 had participated in the 2022 edition, and Austria and Northern Ireland failed to qualify, having qualified in 2022. Poland and Wales will both appear in a major finals tournament for the first time.
