After a successful ODI format Asia Cup in 2023, the Asia Cup 2025 is going to be a T20 format competition. It has happened before as well. The tournament will start on the 9th of September, and the big day, which is the final, is on the 28th of September. The Asia Cup 2025 Teams are surely very competitive. Lastly, the United Arab Emirates will be the venue for the Asia Cup 2025.
India was the team to win the last edition of the Asia Cup, which took place in 2023. This was their 3th Asia Cup title in the last four editions. In total, India has won the Asia Cup for a record eight times, which is the highest for any team. The second team to them is Sri Lanka, as they have won six Asia Cup titles in total. Lastly, Pakistan has won it twice.

Asia Cup 2025 Teams – Teams List, Groups, Squad, and Participating Nations
There will be a total of eight teams that will play in the Asia Cup 2025. India, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Oman, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates are the teams. There are a total of 19 matches in the Asia Cup 2025. All the matches will happen at two venues in the UAE. One is Abu Dhabi and the other is Dubai. Basically, the eight teams are divided into two groups: Group A and Group B.
- Group A: Oman, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan
- Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong
Basically, the first match of the Asia Cup 2025 will happen between Afghanistan and Hong Kong. The match will start at 6:30 PM local time, whereas it will be 8 PM as per the Indian Standard Time. Certainly, Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi will be the venue. All teams play one match against each team in their group. The top two teams qualify for the Super-Fours, and the same process is followed. Lastly, the top two teams of the Super-Fours will play in the final.
