It is good news for every cricket fan that Shreyas Iyer is out of danger.

It was the last match in the series, as the Australian team won the series 2-0.  Harshit Rana was bowling to Alex Carey in the 34th over when this incident happened. Shreyas Iyer went for the catch and grabbed it, which looked like a tough catch. He did not look that great after his landing and was in severe pain. Basically, Shreyas Iyer was in the ICU for a few days as he had an injury that caused internal bleeding. Later, it was confirmed that he was no longer in danger and was moved out of the ICU. India’s T20 format captain, Suryakumar Yadav, shared in the press conference that he was in contact for the updates on Shreyas Iyer’s situation. Iyer finally posted on his social media handle this morning:

He shared the update with his fans, saying that he is currently in the recovery phase. Shreyas Iyer also thanked the fans for their wishes for his speedy recovery. Surely, he had to be fine after each and every fan played for his speedy recovery. From now on, the recovery phase starts, and it is not confirmed yet how long he will be out of action.

No player wants to be out of action and suffer an injury like this. This is the part of the game, and we as fans are thankful nothing major happened to the player, as there have been some of the worst incidents that have happened earlier. Shreyas Iyer is a fighter and will be back stronger than ever.
