The UCL 2025/2026 Matchday 7 was no less entertaining, with more than 14 teams competing for the remaining 7 spots in the top eight. One of them is FC Barcelona. The host FC Barcelona was playing Slavia Prague at the Fortuna Arena in Praha, Czech Republic. Basically, they won their match 4-2, but things were not as easy as they looked.
Now, in the last matchday, all the matches are played at the same time, and FC Barcelona will play FC Copenhagen. The good thing for Barcelona is that they will be playing this match at home. Basically, the date for matchday eight of the UEFA Champions League 2025/2026 is 28th January. One bad news for FC Barcelona is they will not have the service of Pedri, their starboy.

UCL 2025/2026: Can FC Barcelona still make the top eight after a 4-2 win against Slavia Prague?
The game was started on the front foot by the Slavia Prague players as they scored the first goal. Kusej was the goal scorer as his goal came in the 10th minute. Pedri did not have one of the best games, but Fermin Lopez responded well. The La Masia product scored two goals and put FC Barcelona 2-1 up in the 42nd minute. Just two minutes later, it was a corner for Slavia Prague, and Lewandowski put the goal in his own net. The score was 2-2 at halftime.
There was not much happening for FC Barcelona from the start of the second half. Things went from bad to worse as Pedri had to go out due to injury. Olmo came in, and what an introduction it was. It just took Olmo two minutes to get his name on the score sheet as he scored a banger and made it 3-2. Just eight minutes later, Robert Lewandowski, who had not had a very great match, made it 4-2 and put FC Barcelona in a comfortable situation.
Eventually, FC Barcelona won the match 4-2. They needed to have more goals to increase their goal difference, as it would have benefited them in the last match. They are currently in ninth position with 13 points. PSG, Newcastle, Chelsea, Sporting, Manchester City, Atlanta, and Atletico Madrid all have 13 points. One thing is for sure, that we will see a goal feast in the last match day. One thing that is good for FC Barcelona is that PSG plays Newcastle, so one of the teams might drop.
