When we talk about the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qualification History, all international playing sides have a chance to feature at the World Cup through a qualifying round in their respective continents. FIFA changed the name from the FIFA U-16 World Championship to the FIFA U-17 World Championship in 1991. Then, it was renamed the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2005.
Qatar will host this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup. The competition will feature a total of 48 teams, starting from 3rd November. FIFA has scheduled the final for 27th November. With a new format, more teams get a chance to participate in the competition.
Germany won the last FIFA U-17 World Cup by defeating France in the finals. The match ended 2-2, and later Germany won it on penalties (4-3).
