Finally, after months and months of waiting, the Spotify Camp Nou is all ready to host the matches of FC Barcelona. First, it was nearly August when the Club President, Joan Laporta, announced that the stadium would commence hosting matches. It got delayed due to some construction work. Now, there are rumours that Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou could be renamed after Club legend Leo Messi.
Just a few days back, Lionel Messi made a surprise visit to the new Camp Nou. No one was aware of it. The fans were in shock and hoped that Leo Messi would make a return to the club, and they could give him a proper goodbye. Messi on his Instagram wrote a sweet message for the club and gave a hint that he would love to come back.

Barcelona’s Spotify Camp Nou could be renamed after Club legend Leo Messi?
The Club has finally announced that Camp Nou is ready to host matches, but still not at full capacity. Basically, Barcelona play Athletic Club in a La Liga clash on 22nd November. It will be the first match that the stadium will host. The fans will turn out in full capacity and with all excitement. Eventually, the match will start at 4:15 PM local, whereas it will be 8:45 PM as per Indian Standard Time.
Still, the stadium will not be open to its full capacity. Recently, Barcelona had a training session at their new stadium. More than 20,000 fans were present for the training session. Now, for the first match, there would be more than 45,000 fans who would get a chance to cheer for their team from the stands. There are also new comfort zones for the fans and adaptation spaces.
There will be new tunnels from where the players come for the game. The club has also confirmed that there are new locker rooms for both the home team as well as the travelling team. Now, the question is, will there be a new name of the stadium behind the club’s greatest player, Leo Messi? The answer is that yes, there are chances. After the way Leo Messi had to leave, the relationship between the two parties got bad. The club will want to strengthen its relationship, and there will be a Messi statue as well in the near future.
