India is in Group A of the Asia Cup 2025 along with Oman, Pakistan, and the host, the United Arab Emirates. They will play their first match against the United Arab Emirates on 10th September. The most eye-catching match will be on 14th September when Pakistan will face India. India’s last match will be against Oman on 19th September. Abhishek Sharma
His explosive batting is what India needs at the start of the innings. Abhishek Sharma has played 17 matches for India in T20Is and has a strike rate of more than 190. He has scored 535 runs so far, and the maximum of his runs have come from boundaries.
Abhishek has scored 41 sixes and 46 fours in that total. Apart from this, he also has two centuries and two half-centuries. He is currently the number one batsman in the ICC T20 Batting Rankings.
Suryakumar Yadav
There is a lot of pressure on Suryakumar Yadav since he became the captain of India in the T20 format; the runs have not come as per his standards. Suryakumar Yadav is the most experienced batter in this Indian team and needs to play like one in the Asia Cup 2025.
He is currently in 6th place in the ICC T20 Batting Rankings. In the 83 matches he has played in the T20 format, Yadav has scored 2598 runs. He holds the record for the most centuries in the T20 format for India, 4.
