It was the 2024 season when Lizelle Lee set this record playing for the Hobart Hurricanes Women against the Perth Scorchers Women. She scored 150* runs in just 75 balls. Her innings included 12 boundaries and 12 massive sixes. She played all 20 overs, and eventually her team won the match by 72 runs. It is the highest individual score in the Women’s Big Bash League to date.

Brisbane Heat Women’s Grace Harris scored a match-winning knock of 136* runs in 59 balls against the Perth Scorchers Women in the 2023 season. Her innings included twelve boundaries and 11 big hits. It was just at the beginning of the season, and eventually her team won the match by 50 runs.

Smriti Mandhana became the first Indian woman to score a century in the Big Bash League, playing for the Sydney Thunder Women in the 2021 season. Basically, her team was chasing 176, and she single-handedly carried her team, but unfortunately, they lost by four runs. Her innings included 14 boundaries and three big sixes.

She scored against the Adelaide Strikers Women. Her innings included 17 boundaries and two sixes. Eventually, her team won the match by 74 runs.
