Both teams were playing their first match of the Asia Cup 2025. India beat the UAE by 9 wickets to get their Asia Cup 2025 first win.

Suryakumar Yadav won the toss, and it was kind of known that he would bowl first, and he decided to bowl. The reason for that was that it is easy to bat second at this venue. One of the shocks in India’s starting line-up was that there was no Arshdeep Singh. The United Arab Emirates starting line-up was kind of the same as expected.

After that, Bumrah picked up one wicket, and the UAE team just fell apart. Kuldeep Yadav was the man of the moment. In his second over, he picked up three wickets and took four wickets in total. Shivam Dube also took three wickets in his two overs.

Once India came to bat, it was just to see how many overs they chased the target of 58. Abhishek Sharma started the innings with a bang, scoring a six on the first ball. He scored 30 runs in 16 balls before Junaid Siddique got his wicket. Eventually, India won the match by nine wickets, and more than 15 overs were left. Kuldeep Yadav was the Man of the Match.

The Indian team made a record of becoming the second team to chase their target with the most balls to the left, 93. Basically, the United Aram Emirates Team made the third-lowest score in the Asia Cup by any team. Kuldeep Yadav now has the second-best bowling figures for India in the Asia Cup.
