All the matches of the Asia Cup 2025 are done and dusted as India beat Oman by 21 runs in the Final group match of the Asia Cup 2025. The date for the match was 18th September, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. India go with three wins in three matches in the Super-Fours. They face Pakistan next, which is on 21st September.

India’s captain, Suryakumar Yadav, won the toss and decided his team would bat first. This was the first time in the Asia Cup 2025 that India was batting first, as he wanted to try it. India made two changes; Arshdeep and Harshit got the place in the starting eleven. The Oman captain also wanted to bat first. They also made two changes in their starting eleven.

India lost an early wicket of Shubman Gill as Shah Faisal got him out. Abhishek Sharma again gave India a great start as he scored 38 runs in 15 balls, but could not convert it into a big score. He, along with Sanju Samson, added 66 for the second wicket.

Sanju Samson was first for the first time in the Asia Cup 2025, and he scored 56 runs in this match. Axar and Tilak Varma had small cameos. India scored 188/8 in their 20 overs. Shah Faisal, Aamir Kaleem, and Jiten Ramanandi all got two wickets each.

Oman team had a great start to their innings as their openers, the captain Jatinder Singh and Aamir Kaleem, added 56 for the first wicket. At one point in the match, it looked like Oman could do the impossible by beating India.

They had a 93-run second-wicket stand before Harshit Rana dismissed Aamir Kaleem for 64 runs as Hardik Pandya took a brilliant run catch. Hammad Mirza also got a half-century. Oman were only able to score 167/4 in their 20 overs.

Sanju Samson was the Man of the Match in this match for his knock of 56 runs in 45 balls. His innings included three sixes and three boundaries. Arshdeep Singh got a wicket in this match as he completed 100 T20 wickets. He is the first Indian bowler to do so. India next plays Pakistan in the Super-Four match on Sunday (21st September) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
