The winners of the competition were New Zealand; they got $2.34 million, whereas the runners-up got $1.17 million. Eventually, the two semi-finalists got $675,000 each. The 3rd place finish and fourth-place finish teams in their particular group both got $270,000 each. Lastly, the fifth-place finishers in the group stage received $135,000 each.
