We are just almost three months away from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 starting, and we now have all the 20 Qualified Teams. This will be the 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Basically, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will start from the 7th of February 2026 and will end on the 8th of March 2026. India and Sri Lanka are the hosts of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

There will be a total of twenty teams that will play in the 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. We will see a total of 55 matches in the competition. The venues where the matches will be played are not yet officially announced by the ICC. India are the defending champions as they defeated South Africa in the finals of the previous edition. West Indies and the USA were the hosts.

There were two teams that qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 before anyone else. India and Sri Lanka were the teams as they are the hosts of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. India, after winning the last edition, basically now has two T-20 World Cups to their name (2007 and 2024). Sri Lanka has won.

Certainly, there were seven teams that got a place in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 due to their performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, Australia, South Africa, the USA, and the West Indies are the teams. England (2010 and 2012) and the West Indies (2012 and 2016) have two T20 World Cups each. New Zealand, Ireland, and Pakistan got a place in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 due to their T20 rankings.

There were eight teams that qualified for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 by playing the qualifiers. Oman, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates got their because of the Asia–EAP Qualifiers. Zimbabwe and Namibia got their place through the African Qualifiers. Canada got their place in the American Qualifiers, and lastly Italy and the Netherlands got their place in the European Qualifiers. This is going to be the first T-20 World Cup for the Italian Cricket team.
