India also holds the record for the most Asian Cup titles. The previous Asia Cup win was their 8th title. They have won the Asia Cup every alternate time when we look at their record. The years in which India won the Asia Cup are 1984, 1988, 1990–91, 1995, 2010, 2016, 2018, and 2023.

Asia Cup 2025 Schedule Revealed: Upcoming Season likely to be played between September 8-28
There was a lot of confusion regarding the venue for the Asia Cup 2025. Some say the BCCI is prepared to play the competition at a neutral venue. There is no guarantee on the venue as of today. If we look at the options, the United Arab Emirates leads the race to be the venue. The matches can happen in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Basically, the Schedule will be out once the venue and the dates are confirmed for the Asia Cup 2025.

Which teams are taking part in the Asia Cup 2025?
We will see a total of eight teams playing in the Asia Cup 2025. India, the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, Oman, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh are the teams playing in the Asia Cup 2025. There are two groups of four teams each, Group A and Group B.
- Group A: India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates
- Group B: Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Oman, and Sri Lanka
This year, the Asia Cup will be played in a T20 format. This is the third time we will see the Asia Cup in the T20 format. The top two teams from both Group A and Group B will qualify for the Super Four. All the Super Four teams play one game against each other. The top two teams in the Super Four points table earn a place in the final. Lastly, the winner in the final is the Asia Cup 2025 champion.
