He becomes the first player to hit a six on the first ball in the T20 format. India was playing the United Arab Emirates in the 2nd match of the Asia Cup 2025. Abhishek Sharma scored the first ball six on Haider Ali’s bowling and followed with a boundary on the second ball. He scored 30 runs in 16 matches. Suryakumar Yadav also scored a six on his first ball in the same match.

Bowlers win you games, and that is what Kuldeep Yadav has proved in the first two matches of the Asia Cup 2025. In the first match, playing against the United Arab Emirates, Kuldeep took four wickets for just seven runs in the 13 balls he bowled. Eventually, in the next match against Pakistan, he picked up three wickets for 18 runs in his quota of four overs.

In that match, he became the first player from the United Arab Emirates to score 3000 T20 runs. He also became the 11th overall player to achieve this milestone. Muhammad Waseem is now ahead of players like Glenn Maxwell, Kane Williamson, David Miller, and many more.

There are two players who lead the chart to hit the most sixes in the Asia Cup 2025. Abhishek Sharma from India and Azmatullah Omarzai from Afghanistan. Both players have five sixes, but the catch is that Abhishek Sharma has scored in two matches, and Azmatullah Omarzai scored in a single match, which was the Asia Cup 2025 opener against Hong Kong.
