Sahibzada Farhan was batting great as he scored 58 runs in 25 balls in this match. After he completed his celebration, Sahibzada Farhan did a gunshot firing celebration, which was surely poking the Indian fans as well as the viewers. Later, when the Pakistan players were on the field, Haris Rauf was fielding on the boundary. The fans were chanting, “Kohli…Kohli”. In reply, he showed the number six, which referred to the downing of the aircraft.

He also had a heated argument with the Indian batters, Shubmann Gill and Abhishek Sharma, and was abusing them for no reason. During the match, Abhishek and Gill punished him by smashing him for boundaries. Later on 26th September, he was fined 30% of his match fees for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct for his behaviour in the Super-Four match. The reason was that he made unnecessary comments that indicated the military conflict among the countries. The Pakistan opener, Sahibzada Farhan, was just given a warning.

This was surely an immature behaviour from an experienced player such as Haris Rauf. If Suryakumar Yadav was given a match fine for just dedicating the win, then doesn’t Haris Rauf deserve a ban for this unnecessary celebration towards the fans?
