The Caribbean Premier League, or CPLT20, is a T20 domestic cricket league in the Caribbean region. CPL T20 2025 is the thirteenth edition of the league. The upcoming season of the CPL T20 Dates is 14 August 2025 to 21 September 2025, and the match will be held across six countries.
Six participating teams will compete in a double round-robin tournament. The venue of the tournament is in six countries of the Caribbean region. CPL T20 dates will feature a total of thirty-four games in the 2025 season. The tournament branches into league matches and playoff matches.
The champions of the CPLT20 2024 season are Saint Lucia Kings. It’s been a part of the league since the debut season, and the twelfth edition title was their first victory in the finals. They were also a part of the finals in the 2020 and 2021 seasons of the Caribbean Premier League T20.
CPL T20 Dates (Start-End), Host, Matches, Participants
The Caribbean Premier League T20 dates are already in the introduction, but in case you missed it, the matches will begin on 14 August 2025 and conclude on 21 September 2025.
Host
The Caribbean is the primary host for all the seasons of CPL T20. However, the country that hosts the final match is considered the host of the season. Trinidad and Tobago have been the host for the maximum number of times. We will list the host countries below according to the season, including the CPL T20 dates for the 2026 season.

- Season 10-13: Providence Stadium, Providence, Guyana (2022-2025)
- Season 14: Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados (2026)
Matches
With so many matches taking place, it’s essential to keep track of the CPL T20 dates. Until now, only the start and final dates of the Caribbean Premier League 2025 have been released. On 14 August 2025, the debut match of the upcoming season will commence. The final match will conclude on 21 September 2025.

The schedule for the rest of the matches is under discussion because the matches are six months away. However, we will update the CPL dates for the matches at the announcement of the official schedule.
Participants
The Caribbean Premier League has had six participants from the beginning of its debut season. During the introduction of new teams in different seasons, two other teams went defunct. This kept the number of participants at just six. We will mention the participants for the upcoming season along with the defunct teams.

CPL T20 Tournament format & Venues
Due to the smaller number of participants, the tournament has always held a double round-robin format. It is also the cause of a larger number of matches taking place. The tournament usually schedules the matches across six different countries in the Caribbean region.
Tournament format
As previously mentioned, the tournament format for all the seasons of the CPL has been a double round-robin. The tournament format for the matches has two stages: the group stage and the playoff stage.
The group stage will consist of thirty matches among teams to stand at the top of the points table. The top four teams advance into the playoffs.
Although the playoff stage will include four matches, three matches will determine the tournament’s finalists. The winner of the Qualifier 1 match will ascend directly to the finals, and the winner of the Eliminator will qualify for the Qualifier 2 match.
The loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator face each other in the Qualifier 2 match. This match decides who will qualify as the second finalist.
Venues
Like every season’s tournament, CPL T20 2025 will also have seven venues in six different countries. The countries for the venues are: Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Barbados, and Antigua and Barbuda.
