Hardik Pandya can become the first player in Asia Cup history to score 100 runs and take more than 10 wickets. Eventually, he doesn’t need to climb a mountain to break the record.
India’s Asia Cup Schedule states that they will play a minimum of three matches. They have Pakistan, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates in their Group for the Asia Cup 2025. Hardik Pandya just needs 17 runs to complete a total of 100 runs in the T20 format of the Asia Cup. He already has 11 wickets. Once he scores 17 runs, Hardik Pandya will become the first player in the Asia Cup history of the T20 format to score 100 runs and also take 10 wickets.
There is another landmark that Hardik Pandya can achieve during this Asia Cup 2025. Currently, Hardik Pandya has 94 wickets in the T20 format. He needs six wickets to reach 100 wickets in T20Is. If he does so, then Hardik Pandya will become the first Indian bowler to do so. Arshdeep Singh is just one wicket away from a hundred. If he plays, he can become the first.
