There will be a total of six teams playing in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025, the same as the previous edition. Kashi Rudras, Noida Kings, Meerut Mavericks, Kanpur Superstars, Lucknow Falcons, and Gaur Gorakhapur Lions are the six teams of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Priyam Garg, Rinku Singh, Sameer Rizvi, Shivam Mavi, and Kartik Tyagi are some of the stars who will feature in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025.
Meerut Mavericks, Lucknow Falcons, Kanpur Superstars, and Kashi Rudras were the top four of the previous season. Eventually, Meerut Mavericks were the champions. They were playing Kanpur Superstars in the final and defeated them by five wickets with two balls left. Certainly, Madhav Kaushik was the player of the match for his 69* runs knock in the final from 43 balls.

UP T20 League 2025 Prize Money
The first match of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025 is on 17th August. It is basically the reply to the previous season’s final, where the defending champions, Meerut Mavericks, will play Kanpur Superstars. The exact prize money for the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025 is not out for the public yet. During the first edition, the prize money for the winner was one crore rupees.
One thing is for sure, the prize money will be more when we look at that amount. The league, with the past two editions, has attracted a lot of viewers, which will result in more viewership. This also allows the league to attract more and more sponsorships, which will result in more and more revenue for the league.
What is the knockout format of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025?
There will be a total of four knockout matches in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025. Basically, the four matches consist of two qualifiers, one final, and surely one big back. Just like the Indian Premier League, the top two teams get an extra advantage if they miss out on the qualifier one. The third and fourth position teams play the eliminator, and the loser gets knocked out. The winner gets a place in the qualifier two, where they play the loser of the qualifier one. Lastly, the winner will get the place.
