10. Italy
Hopefully climbing at #10! Although it is disappointing not to see them at the Six Nations level, it is cool to see them progress and create a pattern of wins.
9. Fiji
Awesomely electric and entertaining at #9. Their Sevens success and mess of players create a growing threat in 15s. A pleasure to watch.
8. Australia
A two-time World Cup champion at #8. Though recently not at the top of their game, you have to respect their past success and rugby history.
7. Scotland
Consistently improving and finding some consistency at #7. You have to take them seriously in the Six Nations.
6. England
Ranking #6, England are one of the giants of rugby. A World Cup winner and a nation with a well respected rugby history. They consistently have a chance in the big tournaments.
5. Argentina
#5 Their physicality and prowess to win against the crème de la crème cannot be brushed aside. Beware, here they come.
4. France
#4 forever, they are always in contention. With flair and sulking, they won at the Six Nations in 2023, they are cool to follow, and a team we always hope loses…
3. Ireland
Currently ranked #3 and climbing. Just look at their victories in the Six Nations in 2023; they surely are all about performance. Their calmness, reflecting their courage.
2. New Zealand
The All Blacks are at #2. History and prestige; with three World Cups under their belt, the All Blacks are always a danger.
1. South Africa
Defending World Champions, Rated #1. Four World Cup victories confirm their ever-present dominance. Rugby is a powerhouse.
