Arsenal is currently playing in the English Premier League, and they are in second position in the points table. An eleven-point gap separates the first and second, which states most probably that the title race is over. Arsenal also play Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. With the 2024-2025 season coming to an end, Arsenal’s Transfer News for the next season has made the fans excited.
All the focus is on the current season, as anything is possible to happen in football. When Arteta was asked about the signing for next season, he said:
It’s gonna be a 𝐛𝐢𝐠 transfer window for us. We need to increase the depth of the squad for sure… you want to increase certain qualities and skills that we need to now go to the next step for Arsenal.

Arsenal Transfer News 2025: Signings made for the 2024-25 season
Riccardo Calafiori
After impressing with his performance in the Euros 2024, he had caught the attention of many big clubs. Arsenal spent £42m to get him to the club. He isn’t consistent as he has suffered a lot of injuries this season.
David Raya
He was on loan at Arsenal the previous season and had an exceptional performance. Arsenal made the deal permanent by signing him at the start of the season, paying £30m.
Mikel Merino
The Real Sociedad player caught the attention of the Gunners, when they called him, he couldn’t refuse. Being a midfielder, his new role is to play in the false nine position after strikers got injured. He has been doing decently in that position.
Raheem Sterling
Especially after not having a good time at Chelsea, Arsenal got Sterling on a loan move for this season on the deadline day.
We can see a whooping £200m spent by Arsenal if they wish to get their dream players. A striker and a central midfielder are the main needs. Havertz is a good player, but he doesn’t fit the qualities of a proper striker, and Jesus is not the main man anymore.
Player Rumours for 2025-26 season:
Vitor Gyokeres
A young striker currently playing for Sporting Lisbon has been having the season of his life in terms of goals. He was set to join Arsenal a season before, but nothing got confirmed. A strong player who can score with both feet and has goals in his boots. Especially, Manchester United will give Arsenal a good fight for Gyokeres. He has 44 goals and 11 assists so far this season.
Martin Zubimendi
A Spanish midfielder currently playing for Real Sociedad in Spain is a versatile player. He can play as 8,6 and is very good in switches and hold-up play. He would cost around £50m. Real Madrid is also interested in signing him, as rumoured new manager Xabi Alonso admires him a lot.
Nico Williams
After missing out on Barcelona, Arsenal have entered the race to sign Nico Williams. A lightning fast pacey winner with silky dribbling to it makes him stand out. Goal in the Euro 2024 final and being an important player for Spain. He has a release clause of £58m.
